I just got home from the fabulous Chicago Boat Show where I had the best time presenting seminars to the cruising community!
And now I am packing up all my handouts, power point presentations, and products I like to talk about, for in two days I fly to Toronto Boat Show and know it will be a great time for more seminars and good information to pass along to the boat show attendees!
For all you very active and enthusiastic cruising people, now is the time to get dreaming about the summer months and what areas, equipment, and fun your will be having come the spring of 2020!
Once again I will be giving an all day, very popular, seminar “The Basic Systems of a Well Equipped Sailing Boat” It is one of my favorites because I have so many ideas that work, equipment that is tried and true over many miles of cruising, and handouts of many subjects that are all part of the efficient, safe, and fun cruising lifestyle aboard your boat. I just presented this all day seminar at the Chicago Boat Show, and when I asked how long a lunch break the attendees wanted, an hour? a hour and a half? they ALL responded 30 minutes, as they were all so ‘hungry’ for more ideas, more handouts, and more powerpoints to help them make their own boats, or boats to become, better equipped, more comfortable, and much more efficient while cruising short or long distances.
This is ‘Basic Systems’ seminar is one not to miss. It is all day and packed with good information for anyone cruising now, about to purchase a boat, new to the cruising community, and even those who want to upgrade their boats with all the information I can pass along from years and miles of ocean going, and island hopping, in my 39 foot sloop KANDARIK! Please sign up early for this all day class. You will need a reservation to attend. Thank you!

Salon 105
Do you want to see and learn about the kind of equipment above & below deck that can make a cruising sailboat more comfortable, efficient and safe? Pam Wall will take you for a tour on deck and then below to show what she and her husband, Andy, have used to make their boat a safe and more comfortable blue water cruising vessel. All these features were implemented to make their boat easy to sail while being convenient and safe to handle. These ideas came from many years of cruising and making offshore passages. What they have done, by trial and error, you can take advantage of for your boat. There are so many ideas that Pam will give you to upgrade your boating safety and pleasure. This is a seminar not to miss if you are any kind of a sailing boat enthusiast.
