Today there has been a realization by so many that having a boat is a means to getting away from the fear of Covid, refreshing yourselves with the joy of sailing, and being closer to Mother Nature and good ole King Neptune. Many of you may also have the dream of bluewater sailing!
My good friend Josh Mclean at David Walters Yachts, the foremost sailboat brokerage company on the continent, asked me at the outbreak of the Covid pandemic to come aboard and present a companion webinar for their clients who have been purchasing their dream boats. Josh knew that many of the people did not know a lot about sailing or how to equip their new boats that they had purchased from David Walters Yachts. And he knew that my happiest time is when I can help others, like me, who want to keep learning not only the arts of a sailor, but the most efficient, safe, and comfortable way to take a sailboat out to sea and to voyage to their dream lands.
My cup of tea, and joy in doing so, is to inform others on what I have learned over years of sailing, and many miles of bluewater cruising on a well-equipped sailboat. My husband, Andy Wall, taught me everything as he was certainly a seasoned sailor when we met. And having the best of instructors, he taught me the simple, yet sometimes unknown, ways a sailboat can be handled and equipped to go anywhere in the world.
So join me in what used to be a two-hour, in-person seminar that I have presented at many boat shows across the country. Now, thanks to Josh at David Walters Yachts and YouTube, you can come along with me and Josh and hopefully get some good information for outfitting your yacht for bluewater sailing.
Click here to access the YouTube video, and be sure to thank Josh McLean for having this available. If anyone ever wants to discuss what I present further, please do not hesitate to contact me through my website.
Enjoy, and I sincerely hope this will be helpful.
