Butter, Sugar, Eggs, and Flour – To make a really delicious cake you will nearly always need these ingredients, and the right amount of each and the way you blend them will make all the difference in the world in the eventual taste, texture, and overall wonderful experience of eating something delicious.
It is really the same kind of necessary ingredients that can make or break an experience at sea, whether in a sailing vessel or motor vessel. If you have the proper knowledge of all the ingredients and right amount of knowledge for making a passage of any length, you can almost always be assured of a safe and easy and rewarding passage.
Lee Chesneau, the weather expert for cruising yachts, has put together all the four important ingredients to assure safe and comfortable and happy passages for the cruising community.
October 11 and 12, 2015 right near the Baltimore BWI airport at MITAGS, Marine Institute campus, Lee has brought himself, Frank Bohlen Professor of Oceanography at the University of Connecticut, John Rousmaniere who wrote the bible, The Annapolis Book of Seamanship, and worldwide authority on safety at sea, and Pam Wall Outfitting and Cruising Consultant. These four experts in their fields will present a combined three day event to mesh together the four ingredients to make your voyaging more safe and successful.
This is not going to be four separate seminars, but rather a stirring together of knowledge that is reflected in the four components of safe voyaging. Lee, Frank, John, and Pam will give you their knowledge intertwined with your life aboard to insure a delicious and safe experience.
This unique seminar series was given last November 2014. The attendees left feeling empowered with the knowledge they learned to combine the four components, weather knowledge, ocean state knowledge, safety knowledge, and equipment knowledge for safe and happy passages.
